Lenzkirch is located in the black forest between Titisee in the western direction, Feldberg in south-western direction, Schluchsee in the south and the Wutach-canyon in the eastern direction. These very nice sightseeing points can be easily reached - also by public transport; they are only about 10 to 15 km away.

The health resort is laying in the sunny Haslach-valley in a height of 810 – 1100 above sea level. The health centre with its very beautiful park is located in the middle of the city. Here you will find shops, restaurants, cafes, a cinema as well as a very nice event hall.

Not only on sunny days the heated pool invites for swimming. Very nicely arranged tennis courts, hiking trails (which are cleaned in winter times), cross-county ski-runs, toboggan runs as well as a manifold event and child-program do not allow boredom.

The scenic countryside around Lenzkirch is perfectly qualified for excursions and hiking tours. You will find forests and grasslands, sunny valleys and slowly rising in a steady change.

Get up to the mountain Hochfirst with its roughly 1.200 m and enjoy the distant view from the look-out. On clear days you can see the snow-covered crowns of the Swiss and French Alpes.

The proximity to Elsaß, Switzerland and Bodensee makes the village Lenzkirch very interesting for those tourists who like to visit – with short distances - different places.
